As the director of the Office of Legislative Affairs, Christopher L. Herrington is responsible for planning, organizing and coordinating an integrated program of legislation review, development, information and advocacy.
Previously, Chris spent more than seven years at the PLCB as a deputy chief counsel and assistant counsel. He worked on legislative, regulatory and general matters. After leaving the agency, Chris joined the Governor’s Office of General Counsel, where he was assigned to the Pennsylvania State Police and assisted on matters relating to the alcohol beverage industry.
In 2013, Chris received the Governor’s Office of General Counsel’s Certificate of Excellence for his dedication and service to the Commonwealth.
A native of York County, Chris graduated with a bachelor’s degree in economics from Johns Hopkins University and earned his Juris Doctorate from Temple University School of Law. Prior to his public service, Chris worked for law firms and was a senior deputy prosecutor with the York County District Attorney’s Office.
Chris lives with his wife, Katie, and two children in York County. An avid Philadelphia Eagles football fan, he enjoys spending time and traveling with his family.
