The PLCB certifies online instructors and classroom instructors for RAMP server/seller training.

 

Online Instructors
Those interested in becoming an online instructor for RAMP server/seller training may apply at any time.

Instructors may choose to use a standard curriculum provided by the PLCB or seek approval of another curriculum.

Those who are interested and wish to use the PLCB standard curriculum must:

• Submit a completeApplication for Approval of RAMP Online Instructor;

• Pay a nonrefundable $250 application fee; and

• Submit acriminal record check form .


Instructors who choose to seek PLCB approval of another curriculum rather than use the PLCB standard must:

          • Submit a completeApplication for Approval of RAMP Online Instructor and pay a 
            nonrefundable $250 application fee;

• Meetcurriculum requirements; and 

Submit an Application for Approval of RAMP Online Curriculum and pay a nonrefundable $250 application fee.

Classroom Instructors
The PLCB only accepts applications for classroom instructors during two open enrollment periods each year. Properly completed applications must be postmarked within the open enrollment period, or the application will be returned.

The next open enrollment will be held July 1, 2018, through July 15, 2018. 

Those who are interested must:          

• Submit a completeApplication for Approval of RAMP Classroom Instructor;

• Pay a nonrefundable $250 application fee; and

• Submit acriminal record check form.


Approved applicants must complete a two-day train-the-trainer course in order to be certified.
         

For the next open enrollment, this mandatory two-day course will be held (dates subject to change):          

Wednesday, Sept. 19, 2018, from 9:00 A.M. to 4:00 P.M.
Thursday, Sept. 20, 2018, from 9:00 A.M. to 4:00 P.M.

Curriculum Requirements 
A standard classroom curriculum is available from the PLCB. However, an instructor may choose to use another curriculum if it has been approved by the PLCB.

An instructor seeking approval of a classroom curriculum must:

• Meetcurriculum requirements for RAMP server/seller classroom training;

• Submit anApplication for Approval of RAMP Classroom Curriculum; and

• Pay a nonrefundable $250 application fee. 

Once a classroom instructor is certified and registers through PLCB+, he or she will be granted access to the PLCB+ Instructor Login, through which instructors can schedule publicly available training sessions.
