As director of the Office of Supply Chain, Cliff McFarland is responsible for ensuring that wine and spirits products are available for sale in both our Fine Wine & Good Spirits stores and to licensees. Cliff’s team manages the entire scope of product movement – from forecasting sales needs by product to purchasing and acquiring wines and spirits, and from warehousing product in three distribution centers in Pennsylvania to transporting merchandise to stores and licensees across the commonwealth. In addition, his team administers the PLCB Bailment Program (a vendor-managed inventory program), oversees the third-party logistics providers that run the distribution centers, and manages contracted domestic and international consolidation of wines and spirits.
Cliff started with the PLCB in 2015 as an executive assistant in Supply Chain, focusing on special projects. Prior to his appointment as Director of Supply Chain, he served as director of the Bureau of Planning and Procurement, where he and his team were responsible for moving product from wine and spirits suppliers to Fine Wine & Good Spirits stores and wholesale customers. Cliff is a proud graduate of Penn State and has a broad background in supply chain, including work at Diageo, Coca-Cola, and the Charmer Sunbelt Group.
Cliff lives in Mechanicsburg with his wife, Jessica, and their two daughters, Anna and Josie. He enjoys traveling, fishing, and watching Penn State sporting events.
