Rob McCabe

Rob McCabe is the PLCB’s chief information officer (CIO). He is responsible for leading and managing a complex information technology (IT) portfolio of people, infrastructure, systems, processes and projects that support the strategic and tactical needs of the PLCB. His responsibilities include IT policy, portfolio management, security and critical infrastructure protection, architecture and data integrity.

Rob brings more than 20 years of IT experience to the PLCB and more than 10 years of leadership experience at consumer packaged goods companies including Constellation Brands and New World Pasta. Most recently, he was the director of Information Technology at Alleson Athletic, an international manufacturer, distributor and marketer of custom apparel. There, he led projects to replace legacy applications and systems and modernize key infrastructure platforms, including e-commerce and cloud-based technology. Prior to that, he was the CIO for North American Breweries, an international manufacturer, distributor and marketer of alcoholic beverages, where he consolidated IT departments and designed and installed business applications, multimedia systems, retail point-of-sale systems and technology infrastructure.

Rob and his wife, Yvonne, enjoy spending time at their summer home on Seneca Lake, N.Y., with family and friends. Rob is an avid runner and skier.
